ECOSTAR partners’ start to travel, thanks to mobility exchanges that aim to share knowledge among the partners and increase business potential on scientific topics related to MEEB, such as marketing, economic and policy evaluation of ecosystem services.

From 03rd to 07th April, NEPCon will travel from Spain to Romania, to visit Forest Design and the Transilvania University of Brasov to share knowledge related to new methodologies of valuing ecosystem services, and more specifically, in their respective thematic areas; Forest and Climate Change Certification and Recreation, Tourism and other Cultural Services.

 

The main activities will be:

  • Discuss about forest certification and other ES certification opportunities;
  • Talk about experience their respective experience in Sustainable Tourism Standards, and certification;
  • Share technical advice between business staff and young researchers;
  • Present the NEPcon case study as a business model of “service providers” in the field of MEEB.

This is the first ECOSTAR mobility exchange of many, stay tuned for the next one!
