Exciting and anxious is how we could describe these last few months of recruiting and evaluation for The Nature-Accelerator. Following all this work and commitment came the hardest part, the selection. Overall, more than 250 hopeful applicants from 49 very diverse countries applied to our programme and we have to say that we are eager to announce the 8 SELECTED STARTUPS!
8 of the world’s most promising startups working on sustainable solutions to agriculture, forestry, natural resources and ecotourism are joining the first edition of The Nature-Accelerator which will connect them with a wide network of sector-specific technical and entrepreneurship experts.
Startups from Italy, Romania, UK, USA, Spain, Tanzania and Uganda are among the countries represented in the cohort: from sustainable cryptocurrency to novel foods, from efficient charcoal solutions to green tourism platforms and recycled design furniture, the sustainability revolution has started!
